How are you alive!?Over the last 30 days we've used 31 litres of municipal water per day. Our current monthly average over the last 400 days is 4.2 Kl.
Rainwater tanks. Even when we're connected to the mains supply we use them for laundry which is a big savings in terms of water. Our top loader used 110l per load. How are you alive!?

Tanks were all the rage here in PE when it looked like the taps would run dry. As a result I've got over 12Kl worth of storage so I might as well use it.Hmm ok interesting.
We shower.~5kl p/m
4 people. since the drought a few years ago in cpt, we're still extremely water conscious.
we buy ~ 500l drinking/cooking water p/m, run the dishwasher daily and the washing machine twice a week.
how in the absolute hell do you get to double digit figures?
...on the hour every hour for an hour?We shower.
Can you help me with the math here?Yeah mines around 50kl a month. 7 zones 20 min each.
difficult to say esp as that is quite a range. maybe work out min and max and see if you fall in that range. Can you help me with the math here?
I have the following:
5 x Rainbird 2045A's which say Flow: 1.5 to 8.4 GPM (0,34 to 1,91 m3/h; 0,9 to 0,53 l/s)
4 x Rainbird 3500's which say Flow rate: 0.54 to 4.6 gpm (2.0 to 17.4 l/m)
16 x Rainbird Spray Heads which says Flow-by: 0 gpm at 8 psi (0.6 bar) or greater; 0.10 gpm (0.02 m³/h; 0.36 l/m) otherwise
The computer runs the above accross 5 valves fed from the main coming into the house, but in-all EVERYTHING runs for 30mins at a time. So how would I work out how much it all used in 30 mins?

Switch off all your other water consumers, and take before and after meter readingsCan you help me with the math here?
