Chocolate ganache, with Lindt Lindor on top, 25cm diameter, 10cm height?

Found the pic on the internet and asked a bakery for a quote - R750 .

That's what I estimated it to be myself.

Replace the Lindt with Oreo's or something and you've already saved 80% of the cost.

As a business I can understand why they charge so much but it is still insane!

There is nothing exceptional with that cake and I'm pretty sure I can make it myself, the icing is not done very well either.

For R750 you would expect a much better presented cake than that.
