How old is your laptop?

MacBook 2012, ACER Aspire 2014, eMachines (donation from a fellow who stuffed it up), 2010. Have had seemingly endless problems with MacBook. Logic board failed, Digitech said it was guaranteed, when I went to fetch it, they demanded R13100, said they had made a mistake, big row, ended up paying R2000. Then screen connection failed, so took it somewhere else. These buggers took out the Crucial SO-DIMM I had used to upgrade it and put in mis-matched memory. Of course they denied it, until I showed them a photo of the memory in the machine

Sony middish high end VAIO from end 2010 with an SSD I stuck in a year or so ago - still faster than 95% of everyone elses' machines, especially sheeple users :D

C2D HP 4510s from around 2009.

Looks like the dells and HPs last quite well.

Another i3 HP thats a year old.

7 years at the end of this year! Bought it secondhand 5 years ago too.

Bumped it up to 16GBs of RAM and an SSD ~4 years ago and it still plays Dota2 so no need to upgrade as yet :)

Dell e6410, 7 years old.

Chucked in an SSD and removed the optical drive to fit a second hard drive for storage, just need to up the memory to 8gb then I should be golden for a while yet.

HP Elitebook 8540, 7th Gen i7 core- 2 months old :)
My previous one was the HP 8770w, what a tank that was to lug around, but what an absolute BEAST of a laptop!

9 years I recon, maybe more.

Asus. 1st Gen i5 / 8GB Ram / 1GB ATI Radeon GPU.

Still use it daily for work / gaming.

Screen has been replaced once.

Model: MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)
Years used: 2.

Upgraded ram to 16 GB and put an SSD in. Knocks the spots off any of the new models because I have significantly more space for things like other OS's.
