How Raru stayed online during Black Friday

So basically what any decent IT Infrastructure and Application Delivery team would have done.....
 
Doesn't seem like an awfully large amount of traffic from what info was provided - I would be very surprised if they couldn't handle that.

Where are you getting this drivel?

They're one of the better local online retailers and had good Black Friday specials. Their pricing is competitive with Loot & Takealot. Prefer them to takealot.

i have to agree with Saor. the fact that he has to rely on "word of the street" and not find out for himself speaks volumes.

Their Black Friday deals aside they're a good online retailer. I tend to only see positive things said about them on these forums unless I'm missing much of the negative reviews.

Also, the Raru guys made Takealot. After they sold it, it gradually got worse and worse. Raru is now what Takealot (Take2) used to be.

Aggg Sonic is around, its quite amusing to see him rant on things like this when he has no cooking clue really.... keeps things entertaining.
 
Raru was much better this than last year for Black Friday. Last year, they had minimal stock, this year the specials seemed to last longer than 10 seconds. I even managed to get the kids a few half price christmas present, they're gonna think Father Christmas was rich this year!
 
By next year we plan to have some deeper stock levels of the hottest items. They might last a minute or so then we hope. This is also very much a learning experience for us as well. So we will take the lessons from 2016, and see how we can make Black Friday 2017 even better.
 
Unfortunately Raru deals weren't on things that I wanted, but they still awesome with preorders for my games and get them to me on time not like Takealot.

One thing I want to see is Ebucks points.
