Resident Postwhore
This happened twice at about 4am and seeing as it's the first time I've experienced it, I thought I'd get some info from here of course
Anyway, I have Sygate Personal Firewall and both alerts were this:
Security Type: Port Scan - Severity: Minor - Direction: Incoming
1) "Somebody is scanning your computer.
Your computer's TCP ports:
7212, 6588, 8000, 50050 and 808 have been scanned from 118.161.241.109."
2) "Somebody is scanning your computer.
Your computer's TCP ports:
80, 3128, 8080, 1080 and 7212 have been scanned from 118.161.241.109."
So ....... should I start freaking out or relax because the firewall caught it? And what can I do to ensure it doesn't happen again (if possible). Muchos appreciatos for any info as always
