one could argue we have failed to classify people since the caveman days,
wars/religions and cuture have tried and failed thus far, unless what we need is something else

as many point out moral character, unfortunately were still too backwards and primitive for it.

What does left or right mean in this context? Socialist vs capitalist? Because that's what the political compass says it is, not communist vs racist as most people think it is...

No doubt MyBroadband will soon punish results that suit the outcome they already want. What a load of balls.

"By race, gender, and class" - presume that's meant to be for Rights
and
"By moral character" - for Lefts?

I would call myself more leaning towards the Right, but that wouldn't be my way of classifying anything of social interest.

Then again, I can't classify according to supposed morals either - what we see in any person is merely the tip of the iceberg. And who determines which morals are worthy or not?

Have to agree then, bad poll. No vote from me either.

So by lack of frank and beans and if you do?

Without context to the question its a bit hard to answer. What are we classifying people for? The answers changes depending on what your objective is.

In general

Classification by race is pointless (but there can be exceptions to this based on context)
Classification by gender might have some very limited use (but this is not a black and white issue) (clothing classification, etc)
Classification by class is bad.
Classification by moral character is subjective

So none of these seem like particularly useful classifications.

What are you trying to classify people for? Whats the objective of this? Trying to understand the thinking behind it.

Did not vote.

People should be classified by their ability to review ordered items on Temu.

It is all data. Moral, and morality, moves on a spectrum too. What is right in one "house" is not right in another "house".

I am white, male, and poor (not a cadre).

Most of us are oddballs. I think, you going to struggle with this one, IT folks do NOT like to be put in boxes :D although we quite happy to do to others.
That is a fact. These questions come from a left/right survey...definitely not an IT recruitment page :D

41 participants. We're sure to get a very good idea of what's what

To see where MyBroadband’s members fit in, we will run a series of questions to see whether you are left or right. It will be great if you can vote in these questions.
Now do the following. "Is self-defence a right or a privilege?" and "Is firearm ownership a right or a privilege?"
