how to add a watermark layer in Adobe CS3?

Hi all,

Someone told me some time ago that when he processes photos, he has a watermark layer which he adds to all his photos in batch mode. I didn't ask him how he does it back then, but think it could be handy todo this. However, I can't find howto do this on google.

I know how to watermark a photo. But from what I understand, he had a layer which he just applied to the photos. Does anyone know how todo this?

That's why I am loving Lightroom 3 more and more .. the new watermark feature is a godsend ....
