How to browse your domain network on your android device

Download ES File Exlplorer free from the Android Market.
Connect to the domain's wi-fi network.
Open the ES File Explorer Application, go to Network, go to LAN and select new.
Enter the information requested and press OK.

Easy as pie. I have 2x shares from my network on my Galaxy Tab. I can play videos from my network without taking up unnecessary space. It's also useful for grabbing a document quick to open in QuickOffice during a meeting.

*Tip: Use forward slash / when giving the location.

ES File Explorer is fantastic. If a friend also has the app, you can even "send over wi-fi" (similar to wi-fi direct, but using the LAN).

I also stream files from my pc, and can even access the FTP at university.

Without a doubt the most versatile app you can get for your android!

Just out interest...
I actually use File Expert HD and under networks I have
Windows/ Samba sharing
FTP Client
SFTP client
FTPS client
WebDAV cleint
Bluetooth OBEX cleint

and each protocol type allows you to add a new account specifying server name or IP and provide logon credentials, as well as where applicable, existing available connections or shares.
