How to change the ringing tone?

Not the ringtone, the ringing tone. The tone that you hear when you have dialed a number. All my life it was ring ring now I upgraded to an android and it sounds exactly like a busy tone with long pauses inbetween. This is just ridiculous. Is it ringing or not.

It's really confusing for me as well. I think you get that "busy" but ringing tone when it's WiFi calling but I could be mistaken. Try turning WiFi calling off and give it a try.

Did you change network? I know mtns tone is different. Surely the ringing tone is network equipment dependent and not device dependent

the person you are phoning can get that song as a ringtone.

The same applies for Telkom I believe. @Bobby_B the different sound usually indicates different network or different call quality or method like VoWifi or HD Calling. If you are always hearing it it means you are always calling other people that have HD Calling, VoWifi or on other networks.

These sounds are determined by the network and can't be changed.
