Hi, what do you guys use to clean and wipe your lcd's, anything on the market that works really well, i did buy come glass cleaner meant for computer screens but it didnt work to well. I want my lcd to look brand new like when i got it

I use a clean household dust cloth and spirits to clean my CRT, I've got it in a spray canister, that's all I use and my monitor is clean everyday :)

Wipe with a damp cloth (just water), then you take a pair of stockings that you roll in on itself to make a big stocking ball and clean with it.
Works like a charm.

After reading up a bit I found the best thing is to get proper LCD screen cleaner, will set you back all of R36 and comes with a micro fiber cloth. Works great.\

Remember LCD's are not glass so the usual CRT screen cleaner may even damage LCD's. Make sure it says it is meant for LCD's/Laptop Screens.

Where does one purchase:LCD screen cleaner ?

Incredible Coruption, R36 for the one I got. Brand = "aidata" does a good job and it is cheap.

LCD Flat Screens...Keeping Them Clean ???

Hi Guys,

As you probably presume, I've got a LCD screen 19 inch to be exact :)
I love it, the only thing i hate, is cleaning the damn thing
I've read quite a few articles, but i'm scared to try any unless they damage my screen :o
Anyway, have any of you guys got any solution that work for you?
That is besides wiping it with a dust cloth ;)

Thanx In any case

You can also roll a pair of pantyhose into a ball (check with the wife first) and then dampen it slightly with clean water. You can now rub the marks off the screen with it.

You should never use chemicals on your screen without checking with the manufacturer first, as there are all kinds of coatings on it which could be damaged if you do.

buy a NON-amonia, NON-alcohol window cleaner, dampen a lint free cloth and use a bit of glass cleaner. make sure it is NON amonia, NON alcohol!!!! Don't be scared to dampen it
