I bought the 100 wipes version (also R59) of this product, as I wanted to see how it compared to the version above (which 2 of my colleagues bought).

1st wipe-cloth-thingy was very moist, overly moist! Second one I used since I bought it in December was a bit dried out... i think i might not have closed the lid properly  Will have to see how the third wipe goes...

[edit] the LCD wipes i bought are total cr@p. Don't get them.

From my bathroom experience, the third wipe is necessary, however dry the second one seemed :D
It's the 'just to be sure' wipe... and if it's wet, then you need at least 2 dry wipes before you can say you are sure!

Bill Gates would rather you buy specially approved and licensed cloths infused with Dihydrogen monoxide.

(Linux users on the other hand might prefer the recycled hemp soaked in the tears of Gaia. :))

Have to add my 2 cents here, guarantee this works ... Mix up a small bit of clean green in warm water, mustnt foam too much. Use this mix with a soft cloth to clear the gunk off (works especially well for fingerprints) then dry off with a well hand wrung moist chamois for a streakless screen. And FFS don't spray the clean green directly on your screen.

Are you using yr LCD out in the veld? How on earth could u have made it so dirty that you now have to really scrub it to look new ?

ADT cleaner. (Any damn thing). Rather use common sense than toothpaste though.

I also found that "aiming the other way" when you sneeze keeps it cleaner for longer :P

I find that my notebook LCD screen picks up a lot of dust, in the office and at home.

And then it doesnt really help when colleagues poke and prod my screen with their grubby fingers... :(

Believe it or not, what ive done before is ( especialy on old LCD screens with scratches ) to take some vasaline ( a VERY small bit ), put it on a "soft" cloth, and then gently wipe the screen from left to right downwards...your screen will look brand new again for some time ;) Dont use this on new Lcd's with the HARD plastic cover!

Same here - haven't tried the stocking's though.

If I asked my wife for her stockings she'll think I've gone funny in the head! even if I said it was to clean the LCD she'd say "that's a lame excuse! lol ...:)

LCD Cleaning...

Stupid quiestion, but how can I clean my LCD, the actual screen... with what materials?? and how so efficiently?? lols
Thnx
