Oh, Feel free to laugh at me. I do not mind admitting I use Facebook. But I do not use it like most people use it though :p

I find getting a girls number really easy in the right situation...

I personally dont do the whole walk upto someone and try to impress them at a club bit, I normally tend to get chicks at a more social gathering where you can actually talk to someone and be heard...

Good places for this is actually house parties, birthday parties etc. Get a bunch of friends together, get them to invite girls or get their other guy friends to invite girls... Normally even if someone brings a gf, if the party is open enough that chick will bring a friend... Being in Stellenbosch it will also be easy to get the chicks there to invite more chicks...

One thing to considor though.. Not all chicks like that kind of "kuier". Some do like going out dancing, getting a guy coming to her and they grind the night away on the dance floor and later exchange numbers... I tend to sit, drink and charm them and if they like a good conversation with some light flirting it would be easy enough to get their number...

Also that could happen in a "kuier plek" but depends what time of place, I cant take to much of a place that you have to shout on people... Also its really easy to know when a girl would actually give you her number, when you see they are enjoying themselfs :) They laugh at your jokes, flirt back with you, sarcasim works for me even tho its the lowest form of wit... Also easy way to see if the chick likes you is to just sit at that one spot all evening, if she goes to dance or something and she comes back and talks to you again it means your offering her something no one else it at the moment...

Best situation is when a girl that has talked to you comes to you and says, why are you sitting here all by yourself/whole night... You just say thats what you like to do, your enjoying yourself and the conversations :)

Nothing wrong with being honest, ofcourse I dont know if you do enjoy doing that :D Work with what you have, studying for an engineer you have to be smart... Chicks like smart guys, just dont be boring smart... Interesting facts are always welcome specially if you can use them to flirt a bit with them (JUst need to know the right ones) Also deep conversations also work or even silly ones like what do you call the stuff at the end of your shoe laces (Just dont say the answer, cause then you're being boring smart ;) )

Also this is all about getting a number... Because once you have a girls number its pretty easy from there... Chatting someone up over a cellphone is simple... Ofcourse if you need a one night stand, I normally just invite a chick to sit on my lap and talk to her, make her laugh and soon enough you'll be dancing (Not on the dance floor) :D

i'm afrikaans too,well, haha, my classes are in afrikaans. I've been to the irish pub and tollies is also lekke just to sit outside. Catched my coxsackie B visu7 in tessace.

Great to know I am not they only one! Maybe we should start a group, and meet once a week in a bar (not Tollies!) and discuss tactic and that sort of thing!

I am not one fr loud places, like to sit and chat with people.
I am always honest, and that doesn't work either, but then again, wasn't really interested, but that all changed now!

No problem man... Really Im not a pimp or what not :) I don't get girls left and right, but it really isnt that hard, nother good thing to remember is that in a place like Stellenbosch no one cares if you hit and miss, its better to swing than sit on the sideline :)

Just remember once you hit Springboks, its time to start drinking nothing but coke, or go home because you are DRUNK ;)

I cannot agree more... the times I ended up in Springboks after 2 o'clock and kept on drinking... didn't end up well, not once! And my head the next morning, not nice! One strange thing though, never been in a accident in four years now (touch wood), and been driving under the influence once or twice...

The chicks that go to Springboks are nothing but sluts. If you want to see girls that are REALLY loose ... go to Huis Divilliers with the international studenst. Those Dutch students are as loose as throwing a vienna down a hallway ... so I've been told (no, really ... I wish it had been otherwise).
