Hello all.
I'm new to this website, so please bear with me.
I've always wanted to become a racing driver, Michael Schumacher is my inspiration, and I've been fascinated with it.

Does anyone know how to get into racing?.
My plan is to make up a buggy and race it on dirt roads(because I'm relocating to a farm), and then once I have enough experience, I was thinking of entering competitions and races to get attention from sponsors.

If anyone can assist me with any information, it will be most appreciated

Make friends within the community. A good start is maybe to marshal at total and sasol rally events. Or get something at zwartkops raceway to do.

I knew most of the rally drivers 2 generations back from just marshalling which in turn started to become keeping time and so on. I would've loved to do it but working full time in IT doesn't help. Plus you need way more enthusiasm than a general motorsport fan.

Sorry, I clicked the wrong buttons, I'm 16. I know I'm starting a bit late, but it's better later than never

I race the noobs in Bellville Cape Town with my mom's Mazda Midge. I don't win a lot. :/

Check if you can find any local stock car or kart racing communities in your area. If there are, start small - racing of almost any kind will be expensive, but most of those communities have people buying and selling 2nd hand and you don't want to invest too heavily if you end up not enjoying it. Be patient, skills take time to learn.

Does anyone know of anyone who has experience with racing who can give me some advice?
Moosedrool above gave you all the advice you need.
If it's your passion you need to get involved in the comunities. You'll probably also need a lot of money, because racing is expensive.
Find a local race track or rally events and volunteer to be a marshal or do some random job.

How much money do you have?

It's pretty simple to get involved if you can fund it. Problem is most people want to get involved for free.
