How to kill my windows ghost?

I have the same issue on occasion in Vista though. What I do is unlock the taskbar, move it to another location on the screen, and then back again - usually resolves the issue for me...

The "disconnect" has being replaced by "Task Manager" hehe

It still looks like some popup menu remnant though.
