Anyone know the best way to move Eudora (Win) mail over to the Linpus (Acer Aspire One) distro? Also the way to get mailboxes and contact across without having to do it all manually? There doesn't seem to be a Linux version of the (now-extinct) Eudora so it would probably have to be either to the Linux Thunderbird, or to the Acer's own proprietary mail client. Advice from more experienced users to this Linux newbie please?

How many emails are there? If there aren't too many then simply forward them all...but on the other hand if there are a lot of them, then that's another story ;)

No idea what the acer runs on but I remember when installing thunderbird it imported my eudora mail 100%.

Thanx for suggestions but no luck so far. Forwarding is out -- there's years of archived mail to be moved from the Windows version of Eudora! And Thunderbird Linux choked on a straight import.

Gmail. Imap.. it works... You will never have this problem again.
