How to recover deleted partition

I by accident deleted my one partition in windows 7, and would like to know if there is any way that I can recover the partition. At the moment I did not touch the unallocated space. I was more wondering if there is no way in which I can recover the partition table, and more restore the partition then recover it. The reason why I do not really want to recover, is because it is a 1.7Tb partition and I do not have the space to recover it to, since I cannot recover it to the partition. There is a lot of work on the partition, and I really do not want to lose the contents on the partition, but do not have space to run a recovery too.

No worries, it's the best free solution.

Others all cost money...or need to be alternatively procured.
 
ouch i know the feeling about a deleted partition and needing the data back... happened to me last week, ended up spending R4500 just to get back a 3.5GB pst file because a user never backed it up.
 
Hi japster,

Don't worry as it is possible to recover data from deleted partition regardless of its size using a third party tool. Can you let me know which OS you are using as it helps me to recommend you proper tool.
 
Is there a worse feeling than when you have a serious PC mishap? Maybe learning that you have a cancerous growth would be worse ok that goes without saying... but in the scheme of daily happenings it has to be one of the most gut-churn-inducing events. I blew up my mobo the other day and I'm still suffering.
