Well why not learn from other countries!!

Which countries have the death penalty for Armed robbery, attempted murder, assault or Reckless endangerment of others lives (e.g. speeding/D.U.I)?

The death penalty should be stringently controlled, not applied willy-nilly to all offenses. It's a better solution than life imprisonment, though, assuming you can trust the judiciary.

Corporal punishment by means of dismemberment should only be applied for armed robbery and rape.

Dismemberment (particularly regarding arms/hands) will put a huge strain on the South African taxpayer.

I see where you're coming from. The idea, though, is that we won't have to use the punishment all that often, on account of people keeping clean because they don't want to be punished. You can buy your way out of jail, or wait for the next blanket pardon, but it's kind of difficult to get a body part back.

I have absolutely no problem with Captal punishment...neither does a huge part of the modern world! I say chop, hang, amputate...do whateva is necessary to get us out of this crisis. Also immediately deport all 6+ Million illegal aliens
