How to use Call-Back on 155

155

Is it my imagination or is 155 worse than ever?

I have been trying to report a fault for a couple of hours now. Every time I use the call me back I do get a call back and I get told I am going to be connected - then it disconnects me! ARRRRRGHH!!!

Yes snap, same experience my side, as per my other post. Zero support via 155.

One would think that a voice company's primary support channel ought to be at the end of a tel call... instead one has to post on this forum (if one can somehow get access) and hope that whomever is watching the vodacom3g alias' messages at Vodacom notices!

 There's no point in relying on 3g for business.

I have been barred from making calls to the Vodacom numbers 111 and 155 because I have exceeded my call limit, something I was not even aware of. I do make a lot of calls, as I have had data card and speed problems. I use the call back system as I cannot spend an hour listening to the same old music and comments. However, sometimes I have to make 7 calls before I actually speak to a human voice. Because when the callback call comes through and I am told I will now speak to a consultant the call gets disconnected and shortly thereafter I receive a sms telling me they can't take my call and to please try again later. Now who is at fault, me for making the calls, or Vodacom who can't handle my first call effectively? Either Vodacom call centres consultants are incompentent, or they are receiving more complaints than the staff can handle. I wish I had my ADSL line back. I am now using my wife's phone and have been holding on for 25 minutes to speak to someone.

There is a call limit to stop people abusing the call-desk and sometimes legit users like yourself get caught up in the process. I think there is a way to reset it, have asked.
