I don’t know who told you End of April as we got stocks on the new model arriving on Tuesday or Wednesday according my system, You will still be able to get it on Thursday as we are open for trade on that day if you are in Gauteng.
I'm in the market for an HTPC. A few mates bought the N40l and recommended it. I now see the N54l is the replacement. Can someone explain the key differences between these two models and what effect this might possibly have (In terms of using this as an HTPC)?
Here are the specs for the N54l:

AMD Turion™ II Neo N54L (2.2GHz)
AMD RS785E/SB820M chipset
Memory:
Two (2) DIMM slots
2GB (1x2GB) Standard or 4GB (1x4GB)/8GB Maximum, using PC3-10600E DDR3 Unbuffered (UDIMM) ECC memory, operating at max. 800MHz
Storage Controller:
Embedded AMD SATA controller with RAID 0, 1
Embedded AMD eSATA controller for connecting external storage devices via the eSATA connector in the rear of the server
Internal Drive Support:
4 Internal HDD Support
Maximum internal SATA storage capacity of up to 8.0TB (4 x 2TB 3.5" SATA drives)
Network Controller:
Embedded NC107i PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Server Adapter
Expansion Slots:
Slot 1: PCI-Express Gen 2 x16 connector with x16 link
Slot 2: PCI-Express Gen 2 x1 connector with x1 Link
Slot 2-2: PCI-Express x4 slot for optional management card
USB 2.0 Ports:
Seven (7) USB 2.0 ports: 4 front , 2 rear, 1 internal (for tape)

150 Watts Non-Hot Plug, Non Redundant Power Supply
Is it possible to output video from the micro server to an old school telly (yellow, red and white plugs) ? If so what do I need to be able to do this? Also, does the server have onboard sound or do you need an extra sound card for it?
No onboard sound. I think the option most people go for is using the HDMI port on the graphics card to output audio and video.
In your setup you would then require some kind of HDMI to RCA converter (as you're converting from Analogue to Digital signal).
The HDMI to RCA converter should be able to convert the audio (red and black RCA) and video (yellow RCA) from the HDMI out on the graphics card, in which case you wont need the sound card.
Two questions,
1. Has anyone installed the Gigabyte GeForce GT 610 into a N40l / N54l? Any issues?
2. I see they have a pretty good combo deal at www.cybernatic.co.za. Never seen or heard of these guys before and they only do EFT's. Can anyone confirm they're legit or comment on their customer experience?
