HP ProLiant MicroServer

OK, just got a call from Esquire. They did receive the incorrect items as per their advert (i.e. they do not include the HDD's!)

They are working on it and will advise ... :(
 
Grr, also got phoned. Need to decide whether I am ging to take the 2 I have paid for or request a credit.
 
Additional HHD is going to add R500+ to the cost so if not resolved adequately will possibly be cancelling order as well.
 
I cancelled my 2 in PE as, if I add a HD, the cost comes closer to a desktop PC and as we know, spares for a desktop are a fraction of the Proliant's.

Hi All

We were so excited to finally get some more HP Proliant Servers that we did not even question which model as we always only got in the unit the 250gb and 2GB memory which is stk#704941-421 , no-one properly checked the code on the box as we rushing to deliver.

However thanks to members on the MyBB forum we discovered that the units delivered to us are stk# 744900-421, this one is the unit with 4GB memory and No HDD.

HP has confirmed that is the only unit available, the item with 250gb is now definitely end of life and no longer in production.

For the inconvenience we are offering a one-time offer on a 500GB HDD for R439.00 ex. vat for anyone that has already purchased or already paid for their unit(s).

You also have the option to return the unit(s) for a credit if you have already collected it

We apologise for this error and oversight on our side

Thanks, i also got an extra 4GB of RAM.
i am assuming i can get a refund ,if i choose to return it?

And if you get some returns can the offer be extended? I'm in the market for 2 units and happy to pay for the HDD as well.

If you in the other regions there is no problem as branches are getting stocks from today , if you are Gauteng speak to our sales teams there might be some available and you can have the HDD at the discounted rate with the unit(s)

I've ordered the bundle with extra 2GB RAM and GT210. Is there anyway I can swap that 2GB RAM + cash diff for an HDD?
