HP ProLiant MicroServer

Do you mind sending me your config(s) I cannot get my 5450 to work :))
No config really. Plugged the card in. Installed the latest AMD Catalyst driver for Win7 32bit including sound part. Set screen output to 1280x720 @60Hz (HD Ready plasma screen). Set sound to 5.1 on Windows speaker output. That's it. The receiver extracts the sound via HDMI and the picture gets sent on to the TV. I also tried it on a 24" LCD PC monitor with speakers and Full HD picture and stereo sound worked fine over HDMI.

Bought a 3TB, formatted to GPT disk (not MBR), but Openelec can't see it. If I format it as MBR disk, then Openelec can see it, but only see as 2TB. Please help. Does it mean HPPC can't handle 3 TB drives?

Is there anyone that can help me with my query? Is there a bios setting or upgrade that I need to do?

Is it formatted as NTFS?
I formatted a 3TB to GPT partition table with NTFS on windows 7, and then installed it in my HP N36L running OpenELEC eden, and it worked perfectly... so it can indeed handle it
(No bios hacks or anything crazy)

maybe you can do a MBR, but partition it into 1.5TB + 1.5TB?

I did all of the above (in windows 7), maybe its my version of openelec. I am running OpenElec 1.0 (generic build ; as per Milkmans guide.). Perhaps I need to upgrade to EDEN

Mine is Openelec -so help is appreciated

I'll have a look tonight. But everything is set to hdmi. Pass through as well. Menu sounds don't work, but who cares.

I'm assuming you're on 1.95.x beta. I've had problems on 1.95.7. Think .6 was the best re sound.

Maybe someone should put a sticky up and warn people to spend a few more bucks and go Nvidia.

Audio settings.

It sometimes cuts out if the server doesn't shutdown properly. Then you get a failed to initialize audio device error. You need to toggle settings to something else, reboot, back to hdmi, done.

Hi guys, I've updated my Openelec. I can't seem to access my samba shares in windows and Winscp can't connect anymore. Any ideas what is causing it?

Have you made sure that the SAMBA Startup is still enabled ? (Programs, Settings, Enable SAMBA Shares at Startup)
