HP Vista/Win7 laptop
Here is what I normally do.
1. Download a System information utility. http://www.techsupportalert.com/node/84
2. Run the utility and collect all the chipset information for the CPU, North/South Bridge, LAN controller, GPU, Sound etc
3. Go to the Chipset manufacturers website (Intel, Marvell, Realtek, SiL etc) and download the respective drivers for the chips identified in your laptop. This is the only way to get the latest drivers as companies like hp etc stop doing driver updates for their products after like 18-24months.
4. I doubt you will find many Win7 Drivers so use the Vista ones as they should be fine.

What is the exact model of your laptop and I will tell you what to download. The Model# should start with RQxxxxxxxxxx or RWxxxxxxxxxx
Most of your drivers will be Intel. Only the Audio & Modem are Connexant.

*** Before you install any drivers rather look in Windows 7 Optional Updates. I just realised that Win7 will try and install drivers for hardware via the normal update procedure (look under optional updates).

Actual driver is probably included in Win7 as I do not see any specific downloads for Vista.
