HSDPA for Intel chip

Funny, they have always been on the WiMax side of things. Good to see they came to their senses.

Moorestown is based on Lincroft, a system on chip that includes an Atom processor core, and is designed for smaller handheld devices.

The Moorestown platform will include built-in WiMax support, which Intel has been pushing heavily over the past few years, as well as optional high-speed cellular access. By including HSDPA support in the chip Intel is looking to maximise mobile connectivity which will be a critical part of the success of the platform.

HSDPA on a processor for mobile devices... Intel would be stupid to not have HSDPA support.
