HTC DESIRE HD

Heads will roll if it is a Desire. Especially mine, I will commit Seppuku.

So I guess I put R50 on DHD for me.
 
Mwuhahahahaha, phoned VC retentions yesterday at 12:14...

...and they just delivered my Desire HD here at work. :D
Well there goes any hope of being productive for the rest of this day :p
 
Well im paranoid about them sending the wrong phone especially cause when they phoned the first thing the guy said is "oh yes we have stock!" but I did just send him an e-mail to confirm and he said its a lightish brown phone and its the HTC Desire HD. Still wont relax till I see it for myself but lets hope they know the difference now and everyone will get the right ones. Kingrob when are you ment to be getting yours? you got through mtn online as well hey? ps- I also just orederd the 12 piece accessory pack off e-bay. comes with 2 1500mah batteries :)

Will those batteries work on the DHD?
 
MTN just phoned me....they got stock this morning.

I told the girl to take one out of the pile and put my name on it. :)
 
First real day with the DHD only got 6h35 of use. How ever i was showing off with it spent about 5h30 on the Market downloading apps, WiFi, Bluetooth, Brightness on max. benched it two of three time. LOVING IT!!!
 
Fantastic kingrob! are they gonna post it to you today?! seems like the stock are starting to come in a lot now

They said delivery will be on Friday.

Oh well, I've waited so long for this superphone, few more days cant hurt.

Unless Liebies post a lot of screenshots & make me jealous. :(

so :) guys have had this awesome phone for a few days now and was wondering how much usage you guys have used from out of the box
im soo keen to upgrade to it but worried about data usage , last thing i need is a 1gb usage bill from mtn lol
any ideas ?

I shut my Data connection off for now. Only using it on WifI at the moment. Also worried about getting a surprise on my account for data.

I got mine on Thursday (2 Dec) and this thing eats data for breakfast, I've already used 180MB in 5 days. Granted I have been downloading a couple of apps and so on, but I think the constant syncing with FB, Exchange, HTC Sense and so on does eat away at it. But definitely get a data bundle!

EDIT: Oh yea, just get 3G Watchdog from the market, it does a pretty good job of tracking data usage.

USB tethering also works well, ie using your PC internet account with the DHD.
