Remember the screen on the Hero is a bit smaller than the iPhone, may not bother you but would be a factor for me.

Oh, what condition are both phones in? I mean swapping an old 3G for a brand new Hero would be a great deal.

What does the iPhone 4G bring in terms of hardware improvements? It always seems the iPhone is a generation behind in hardware and a generation ahead in software. But Android has caught up with iPhone in software side whereas iPhone seems to lag behind in hardware compared to many smartphones.

Both phones are very similar... 6 of one and half a dozen of another.
I reckon your best bet would be to play around with both of them and decide which one you feel more comfortable with

I'm starting to love the Hero even though it's on v1.5. Will update to 2.1 as soon as it's available.

One thing that p*sses me off though: I have set my home location to Gordon's Bay, but on the Home screen it still shows the weather for Harare - WTF? Anyone know how to set the home screen to show my home location? is this even possible?
