This looks like a really nice phone. I am tired of seeing all of these overpriced high spec devices when a lot of people just need something a lot simpler.

Yes - there is an S4 mini LTE model. Also a dual SIM option. Not sure which one will be coming to SA.

I've got a Desire S which is 3.7 - would've preferred to have a 4.0" or 4.3" screen, so personally think 4.0" is about right for a ''Mini''-sized phone.

I used a HTC Wildfire S with a 3.2'' display and thought it was absolutely brilliant.

Only downside was the limited amount of storage to install apps with (121MB), so I had to part with this fantastic phone in the end.

Oh, and the call quality on this little phone was outstanding!

I don't even know why we bother with articles on new HTC's because by the time they are somewhat available here they are out of date.

You guy's must be kicking yourselves. Considering how the S4 mini benchmarks are kicking this thing all over the place.

S4 Mini:
Better battery life by a country mile. (Check GSMArena, the only guy's who actually do a decent/if at all battery test of phones)
Better CPU (1.7GHz and using Krait 300 cores VS 1.4GHz using Krait 200).
Higher clocked Adreno 305.
0.5GB more RAM.
Camera is WAY better. (Take a look at GSMArena)
Has a MicroSD slot (LOL seriously One Mini why you no have)

One Mini:
Higher resolution screen (1280x720 vs 960x540)
Aluminium Uni-body.
Beats audio with Stereo speakers.
16GB internal choice (only 8GB for S4 Mini) but no External MicroSD so you're stuck with 16GB.
Video recording does allow HDR recording (But the camera is so damn fuzzy anyways)

*S4 Mini beats the One Mini in every benchmark. However the One Mini has a much better build quality and overall, beside the paltry 16GB with a lack of MicroSD, is better for media consumption (music and watching movies and such).
