HTC One X

I was excited about the One X, but

- Battery seems kind of small for the scale of the hardware.
- 5 of 6 people I know with HTC phones (including myself) had to take it back more than once
- HTC losing appeal by doing things like this http://bit.ly/HduVRa

It's a 1800mAh Li-Po battery, this is bigger and better than ANY HTC has EVER used. My Desire has a 1400mAh Li-Ion battery. (Desire HD - 1230mah, Sensation - 1520mah)

Still much better than any Blackberry :D Personally, none of my HTC owner friends have ever had to take in their HTC, while my wife and colleague have both taken in their iPhones. Every day on Facebook, one of my friends posts about their BlackBerry being in for repairs...

Did HTC make that receiver? There is no sign on that link of HTC making those?

Expansys selling the One X - for those who can't wait for the service providers to get them

We all know that today's phones only lasts about a day in battery life. That's their goal at the end. Sure it can last 4/5 days if you never use it but like myself... I'm downloading gmail, work email, running several programs the entire time.

As for taking the HTC back.. I did take back my sensation. It's a really good phone to phone with but that's all lol. Ram was way to low to handle everything I wanted to do. Same as the S2. After a while both of the phones do get really slow.

I had to take my sensation back 2 days after I got it. Didn't charge :(

And as for that link... Don't know if that's HTC but so what. Have you used it? Maybe it's actually really good?

Sensation users or constantly complaining about battery life. But you're probably right. I'm comparing it with my 24Ah extended battery for my desire. I'm a heavy user and I get barely a day. This phone has a much higher resolution, more cores, higher clock speed, etc. I'm hoping I'm wrong.

But if Apple sues all the android guy's because of "their" idea then it's fine. Everyone still wants a Iphone...

My first HTC was the HD2. That phone did everything. Even hacked my PS3 hahaha... But the sensation was crap. I waited a long time for the Evo 3D and it just didn't come out (now it is but it's hard getting one.) so I got the Note. Loved the phone but just a tad big. So hoping the 4.7" is just right

I prefer the HTC One S. Faster CPU, even though its dual and not quad core. Plus I think it looks sexier with that all aluminium body.

Think One x is better :) First quad core so don't think benchmarks are 100%. Remember when the first quad core PC came out. Score's wasn't that wow because benchmarks only ran the 2 cores

Exactly why we're not Apple fans. Now HTC is doing it..

I am not an Apple fan because of their questionable ethics, it because they make sub-par hardware and try sell it for a premium over other, more competent hardware.

****ty camera? If you want a good camera, then get a Canon 5D Mark 2. This is a cellular phone.

"Whoa!! how nice is that car driving past, let me just quickly pull out my Canon 5D Mark 2 from my pocket, oh, no wait, scrap that idea..."

You are not allowed to use your cellular phone while driving in any case :D

-Cough- "Whoa! Check out that awesome spider, let me just quickly run back into the house, grab my canon 5D Mark 2 and get a picture of it, then go back to my computer and plug my camera in so i can upload the picture to MyBB and watch as everyone squirms at the size of it!! oh no wait, the spider has gone."

Is that srsly your argument against people expecting average quality cameras? Has nothing to do with wanting it, it's about the standard current tech which competitors use. Why exclude it on a high end/flagship phone from another brand?

Either you:

1) Don't need an acceptable quality camera phone or aren't used to it
2) Carry a DSLR around with you everywhere
3) Love HTC and / or defending your decision

So in what way is the HTC One X camera "****ty" PostmanPot? You just don't like it because it doesn't have a 4.7" plasma screen...
