I was in the CW yesterday and they said they have.
 
Did any of you guys that have sourced One X's see if they had the One S in stock as well by any chance?

Saw on gsm arena that the bootloader will be locked on the phone? On my phone now so I cannot post links. It says AT and T so maybe only in america

There's already a rom for the one x international. So no, only the AT&T version is locked.

Phoned MTN Steenberg on Friday, they kept one for me and I picked it up on Sat. Wanted white but they only had black. First one we opened had scratches on the back, the 2nd one had some red ink smudged from 'Beats Audio' logo, but it cleaned up ok so took that one. Quite large compared to my desire, and probably not as tough but time will tell....probably going to insure it too..

How does it feel in the hand though, still comfortable like the desire?
Why do you say not as tough?

Also interested to know. I went from Desire to Desire HD to hopefully the One X. My upgrade is due middle June.

Not at all as comfortable as the Desire (std orig Bravo, not S or HD) due to its size.

Desire is narrower and thicker lending itself to more ergonomic shape like any hand operated device (gun, door handle) makes it easier to manipulate.

The HOX is also very thin, like the SII, so thin and wide makes it a little unweildy to be honest. I'm sure I'll get used to it. My hands are average.

With this phone in my pocket I would be worried about banging it against a counter edge or something a little more than the Desire, the large screen may not be quite as forgiving as my desire has been.

I reckon with a case on the handling will improve, it did with my Desire, so at the mo only have an SII screen protector on.

I do find myself using both hands more in day to day operation, make that Day 2 lol.. its early days yet.

BTW the new HTC Sync is a 153MB download...

Also had trouble connecting to Wifi with any WPA security, only WEP seems to work 100%.
 
damn, no updated deals from Vodacom as of yet! Come on guys, I neeeeeeeeeeed a new phone!

Waiting for them to open but doesn't look like it's gonna happen just yet :(
 
Can we not see their new deals booklet online anywhere?

I checked their site, it only shows the booklet up to yesterday's date.

My friend got one at MTN in Tygervalley on Saturday.. Now Vodacom just needs to get them :)
 
It's not uploaded yet. I did get the booklet yesterday but they didn't have the One X in there :(

Did you get the booklet in a store somewhere? I can't go another month with this sh*tty phone I have to use now after my Desire's screen cracked! I see some more people complaining on the Vodacom vleisboek page!

Has anyone tried Autopage or so on? Perhaps they can give us the One X on vodacom?

Yes got it in store. But it's kinda the same as their current specials :(

I'm feeling your pain. Even considering just getting the Nexus or the Note just to have a good phone again but I know then if the One X is out I'm gonna be super p!st :(

autopage = no clue,
tried on friday they had no idea, i see on their website that they shall have they may upgrades on the 9th
