Yeah, hoping that it's not more... I am paying in something like R160 per month for the desire, if the One X is the same I will be okay with it.
 
Haven't been excited about a phone in a long time! My contract is due for upgrade in September. Definitely getting this one! Can't wait! HTC's phones are always worth waiting for!
 
I had a look at when GSMArena said the Desire was announced, and when I got my Desire. Released Feb 2010 and I got mine May 2010. So with that in mind, the One X was announced Feb 2012, so I should be able to get mine May 2012 ?

Really hope the battery on this model is better though...
 
It has a 1800mah batter, this is higher than most previous models. Also, the tegra chipset is much less power hungry than the Snapdragon. It should have better battery life than the desire :)

Maybe she should get 4!
Come to think of it.... why not bring in 3 extra and sell them for R7k? Bad idea?

To make R600-700 per phone, I would rather not.. but that's me.

Agreed, it has more than enough grunt to sent the odd whatsapp message :p. Definitely on my next upgrade list.

Your choice between the one x and one s is probably down to display quality, and whether a quadcore is really going to make a difference to the user experience.

My choice between the One X and the One S is purely based on e-penis, i don't need either of them as my Optimus Black is perfect for what i use my phone for, but i still want the One X :D.
 
This phone looks awesome!! My upgrade date is the 5th of May, you guys think it should be available by then?? I am not big on waiting, and my Desire is very screwed up at the moment so it is irritating the crep out of me!

If it's announced this month it should be available in may. Autopage says it will be.
