HTC Queries

Looks like it. What useless service haha. Go read their first few posts about being committed and all that jazz.

Unfortunately I will be getting the HTC one when it's released.

Gonna have to wait it out... My contract expires this month, so I guess I will "month-to-month" until the phone is released on Cell C

reckon R500 will be enough for a Straight Up 200 and the device?

Gonna do the same, gatvol of MTN and their shizz, they dont answer, they dont care about their ppl, i'm due for upgrade now also, and I want the HTC One, and they just dont wanna have the phone in stock. So, i'll be moving to Voda or Cell C ... who ever has the best package.

Been a customer on MTN for 10 years, so ... chow MTN.

Nope we're still here. We don't have any more information to release at this time apart from what went out to media on March 19 at the media launch.

I can't understand how Vodacom and Cell C are taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S4, but no one, including MTN can give any updates on when the HTC One will actually be available and the pricing. Bloody frustrating

Yeah I hear you man. Im seriously considering getting the S4 even though I really want the HTC One. I just dont wanna sit around waiting for better days when I could be using one of these awesome new devices.

Maybe I will adopt the approach of whoever comes out first with Cell C.

I'm still using my HTC Desire, so u can imagine how frustrating it is. 3 year old phone, none of the new apps work because of the speed of the phone.

I am have been patiently waiting for this phone, but my patience is starting to wear a bit thin. I honestly can't believe that no one knows anything, including HTC. Service providers overseas at least keep consumers abreast of what is going on, and when the phone is due to launch and pricing. The level of service that we have here from Vodacom, Cell C and MTN is laughable. It feels like they have some agreement to punt Samsung and Apple phones more than any other phone. All the info for Samsung and Apple is up-to-date. Ask for anything else, and they have no idea what u talking about.

HTC still refuses to listen to their customers.

Their profits declined rapidly (they made $2m profit between Jan & Mar, compared to $273m profit last year same time) & they simply don't have a marketing budget anymore.

LOL, i am in the exact same situation. Same phone, same fustration. Im suprised i havent smashed my phone yet, as it restarts if it over heats.

HTC SA- I hope that you are taking note of our frustrations with the lack of feedback on the availability of the device? You are looking at what is possibly your core market in this forum, it would be a mistake to turn them away to another manufacturer.

I think a good place to start would be letting us know what the return policy would be on a HTC One that has gaps in the design, when the phone has been marketed as a "gapless design"

or would that be covered by the service provider? CPA?

I'd like to know if there's an HTC store or authorised reseller somewhere (apart from the cell companies) that I can buy a new phone from. I'm only halfway through my contract and I have an itch that needs scratching...

The HTC was revealed nearly a month before the S4 and yet the S4 is being released first. Hmmmmm... Beautiful design be damned , I'm going with the Samsung, at least they have their ducks in a row.

Couple years ago you could buy from Leaf Wireless, but they have since vanished. Currently, I do not think there is anyone. U could try Expansys.

Regarding HTC One Availability, I tweeted Cell C and they said mid June. Vodacom has the One (Comig Soon) for R429 in their new
Vodaworld deal book. No idea about EmptyN
