Thnx... Dutty's has to many bugs still... I'm running exactly the same one, he has a new one to, 22 May.

There's one bug on it that drives me insane, if you type on the keyboard, and you type fast, it puts the space after the next key that you press... .e.g "if I type this fast", it'd read "ifI ypet hisf ast". Its actually the reason I'm reflashing.

Noooo... wait!!! The new rom is even more buggy believe me, I've tried it and hated it, lasted less than an hour and I flashed back to the hybrid. All you need to do to fix the keyboard issue is install the disable xt9 cab... That's unless you use the touch keypad with t9 predictive text...

another thing, what web browser do you use on your htc? up until 2 days ago i was using internet explorer but I've installed opera mini 4.1 and I cannot begin to tell how much better it is!! Amazing, so quick and easy to browse the web now. Well worth trying...

I'm really enjoying my tytnII these days and it thanks to duttys roms and one or 2 very useful and effective apps...

I'll try it again on this ROM... was using the orignal when I tried it...

The new HTC 6.1 one includes video tweaks... wonder if Dutty's does...

P.S. If you have a data bundle on your phone, try www.vimio.com, its streaming TV... I use it mainly for BBC World when stuck at the airport... its been down for awhile, but back up now.

oooh... is it bandwidth intensive? I don't have a bundle no, R1-20 per mb is what I'm currently paying but I don't browse much on my phone, so slow and pathetic to even try, well until I loaded mini that is but even with opera mini you not down loading the page full size but a re sized version that's come via the opera servers. So if a page would normally be 200kb in size you down loading a 30kb version making it a WHOLE lot cheaper...

At least I think that's how it works...

I'm not sure... it doesn't seem to use much... But usefull for airport lounges....

I'll try Opera Mini again :p

oh okay airport lounges would mean wifi hot spot=no charge to your account!! clever chap!

Opera-mini is not available for the Tytn ii - will the generic version work ?
Yeah whatever's available at www.operamini.com. download it onto the phone using IE and it will install and run via midlet manager or ejava....mmmm you may need ejava app which I don't think is part of the standard HTC rom... That could be why you not able to install and run it but try the generic yes...

here is a link to a midlet manager cab file...

I upgraded to WM 6.1 having backed up my data first.

Afterwards I restored the data and...

I can see the email was restored but cant view it - I get

"Company policy prevents use of Internet e-mail on this device "

Anyone experienced this ?

There's probably a version on xda-developers.

I'm about to sell my Tytn II... time for its successor.
