HTC Sensation or Galaxy s2

sg2. no brainer. according to samsung, arriving first week july. vodacom say will need a short time to test it. so maybe july/august...

Virgin mobile store told me that it will be arriving in stores from the 10th of June onwards. So just over a week to go... Can't wait. Apparently the SG2 has Nvidia Tegra 2 :) :)

Don't go to Virgin, it will be the worst mistake you will ever make, no matter how good the deal sounds

So does anyone know when MTN are gonna start offering the phone on contract?
Been trying to call them for the past half hour with no answer, i guess its lunch time for them, lol.

Flip a coin....

HTC bootloader is locked and all Sense does is eat batteries
SGS 2 body is made of plastic

Any case both are nice phones so doesn't really matter :)

HTC announced on Facebook that they will no longer lock their phones. Even if you get a locked bootloader now, you will at some stage get it unlocked via an update. I am sure HTC won't just say they changing their policy and not apply it to new and current phones.

It will still be a while before the Sensation is out in the SA market, prolly around July, there should be more information out by then.

Some more information if you wanna follow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113848

I'll post some more info if I find more ;)

Not good, not good at all had a ipone4 and the amount of drop calls when I'm at home was about 50%. Reside in a area with bad reception and from the lounge it was a no go afa the Iphone's concern. My wife bb8250 had no problem and my s2 also no problem. It is a constant irritation if you have to keep on redialing. Just for this ppl must think really hard before making a decision

Regarding the Death Grip, there is no denying it, but please note that it is limited to WiFi and BT and not calls. Still sucks thou :(

Edit: Just saw the BT one now also :(
