I must admit this is the first HTC i would ever consider getting. It looks SOOOOO good! :love:

HTC just announced the Sensation XE - the new monster gathering everything the company has to offer in a single shell. You get a 4.3-inch nHD S-LCD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8 megapixel snapper, Beats Audio and the latest Android and Sense software.
The HTC Sensation XE is based on the same Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon chipset as the HTC Sensation, but has its dual-core CPU clocked at the much more impressive 1.5GHz. There's no change to the available ram (768 MB) or the GPU (Adreno 220), though. You also get the same software package - Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.5 UI on top.

Looks just like a normal HTC Sensation, with a few bits of red here and there

The point here is actually the increased clock-speed of the CPU and better camera and audio. The red tint on the front and back are enough to distinguish it from the normal (lesser) Sensation...
 
Well HTC just had to go do this....

I was sooo sure my next phone was going to be the Xaiomi Phone, now not so sure anymore.

That was my exact thinking. This looks WAY better than the Xaiomi. But it will also cost quite a fair bit more.

Agreed the whole plastic thing put me off, Build quality in HTC never let me down yet. and I know about the touch problems the Old sensation has but that is based on a grounding issue that can be fixed, plastic crap can not.
 
So where is the best/cheapest way to get one of these? Specifically the Sensation XE not just a "plain" Sensation. The bigger battery is kinda essential. Plan B would be an XE battery in the normal Sensation. The CPUs are the same. I'm not too bothered about the red junk, that can go. I just want the bigger battery.

Funny thing is, when we look at the phones of today, we can compare them more to say cars... I made the analogy with my friend that HTC Sensation is like an Aston Martin DB9, while the Samsung G S2 would be a Nissian GTR... While the Nissian beats out the DB9 on paper, in almost every way... the DB9 still offers you the better ride, that feeling of love being put into the car...

HTC >> Samsung ;)
 
Still using crappy Qualcomm processors. Galaxy S2 still tops for me. HTC needs to start making 1GB ram smartphones. Nearly every phone they release is the same as the last.

Its the Adreno 220 that makes the phone much better than the Galaxy S2 :D

Joke is more games Support the HTC's "crappy" cpu than the SGS2's

That said If I got a HTC right now I would flash it so fast it aint funny because of the recent security issue that raised it's head.
