try canal walk if you in joburg. I phoned them pretending that i odered the phone and that i will be coming to collect it. earleir in the day they told me they were out of stock. so i tried that and then they miraculously had stock. lol... service providers will do anything to get a contract.
 
can anyone help me... i have just got my touch diamond and synced it with my outlook express. before that i synced my nokia n80 with my computer and i have all the contacts on my diamond now, but a lot of the contacts simply have no mobile number under them.
 
I emailed Leaf to find out what's price as my local newspaper insret quoted R6100 from Leaf.

I also obtained the login details from Leaf to download the ROM, as I try to install it say the file has been corrupted. Downloaded it another 2 times and wasted 300mb as it's still corrupted. Do any of you have another location to download this from?

Hmm, nifty little phone, but i'm waiting for the version with the keyboard. Anyone know what the ETA on that one is?

There are quite a few people selling the Touch Pro (grey imports) on bob. I personally would not buy one until the price has settled. It should be about 10% - 15% more than the Diamond.

What's 10 - 15% of (arm + leg) .. Maths was never my strong point :confused:
 
Diamond RRP is about 6900 , Touch Pro should be around 7590 - 7935

Grey Diamonds are already under 6000

ya all of those, at the end of the day the major difference is a slide out keyboard. iv been using the diamond for a few days now and have no problem with the keyboard. i guess its for people like my dad who cant use the touch screen. kudos to htc for covering both ends of the market coz im still gob-smacked by this phone. i love showing if off to people. lol:D:D
