Stock arrives tomorrow

Currently trying to negotiate a better deal with them :D
 
Just spoke to Vodascum and the guys there now tell me they dont even know when the stupid phone will be available, yes it will be shipped tomorrow but they cannot say when it will be available on contract, bunch of headless chickens

Weird they sent me a contract renewal quotation with Touch Pro listed as part of the contract.
 
I never knew one could negotiate with them when buying a phone on contract...will try my luck with mtn and see what they can offer me on the pro-call 300 ;) thx

and you got them down to R1200, how?

Is that a R1200 pay in for the pro on what contract? If that is on a decent priced contract that pay in is not that bad.....Not sure if Mtn will be able to better that, but don't hold me to that.
 
Is on a talk 500. I spend R2000 every month so I explained that If I have guaranteed them for the last 6 months 2000 Rand then they can see that is guaranteed for the next contract (have been spending R2k for the past 3 yrs - should be on a talk 1000). They are therefore making a lot of money out of me on this contract only, never mind the others. I refused the R3000 pay in and when they came back with R1800 I said call your Team Leader as you are going to lose a customer.
 
:D Yep, I threatened them that I would move to MTN if they didn't beat R1650 (their best offer). They told me how to port across to MTN! :D :D :D I've used all my bluffs, I guess that is really their best offer. I'm taking it.

There is now way they will give it to me free. They would rather lose me to MTN than reduce that offer.

How can you let them rape you like that? I mean R800 PM and you STILL have to pay R1650 for the phone!?? That is just RAPE.
