HTC TyTN II (Codename: Kaiser)

Hey all
I'm having a little problem with my Tytn2 and was just wondering if anyone else has had it. All sound on any new reminders or alarms have gone. Yet, any old reminder (or alarm) that has been in from a while back works fine.
I've checked the volume level and the "sounds and notifications" but everything seems fine. I really don't want to hard-reset the device.
Any ideas?

Did you change the timezone? Happened to me once - couldn't fix it, did a hard reset.

no. Haven't changed anything for a while.
crap..... here comes the hard reset and reinstall of everything

www.xda-developers.com but it's not a cooked ROM.

Just remember to install HardSPL first.

All at own risk of course. ;)

I fully understand the risks involved but if there is a ROM version that enables video acceleration I would really like to try it.

Problem is, I have no idea where to look for it in the xda-developers site...
or for that matter even what hardSPL is or what it does or where to get it.

Before I try to make my way through reams of xda forums...
Anybody care to explain?
Would be great.

I am finding the performance of the Tytn II quite sluggish ( I upgraded from the Tytn and expected better performance).

Anyone else finding this?
Yes I agree 100%... Also had the Tytn prior to the Tytn II and the Tytn certainly appears to be more responsive... Bit disappointing really...

You won't find it on MS site... you'll have to get it from HTC, for the Tytn II when its released.

When I was at Leaf's offices earlier, one of their consultants had it running on his Tytn II, on line it looks pretty generic.

Yeah... you can probably get it off xda-forums... its been out for awhile... just remember, you loose everything you currently have on your phone.
