HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

not winning

forgive my ignorance but other than DL and installing megupload i am no nearer to DL WM6.0.

what could i be doing wrong?
 
i did register with htc.com to utilize htc club which has 6.0 but i failed to find the software anywhere on that site.

I registered, logged in, selected software, selected htc handset but all I got was a trouble shooting exercise.

Perhaps it's because the sn number I registered with belongs to a local stock, nashua mobile handset? I dont know....

Anyway I have waited this long I may as well wait for Leafs official release...

Nope, definitely not the S/N .. did you register on htc.com or europe.htc.com? I am registered on europe server (which caters for Europe and SA), and I have the download link for the software.

Update on SA WM6 release: I just paid a visit to Leaf Wireless ... the WM6 ROM will not be released tomorrow. They did receive a test unit/ROM or whatever, but it won't be released tomorrow ... they don't know when
 
yeah htc europe... simply not given the option to DL the software, either I'm missing the link somewhere on the site or they not into sharing it... I have no idea but I guess I'll wait for Leaf to test and release the local edition,(hopefully before xmas). :(

Well, if you can give me a spot to dump the WM6 ROM (where you will be able to download it), I can do it for you. Where are you located?
 
i have registered with europe htc yes but seem unable to find the link allowing me to down load the software. It prompts me to select my phone from a list which i do then leads me to a faq trouble shooting page but no sign of the 6.0 operating system.

after registering and logging in you should have a panel on the left hand side Software downloads
 
yeah i do.... well to be exact it says my download in green then under that it says phone software updates and other downloads both in black...

once i click on phone software updates it gives me this message...

Select your PDA phone or smartphone model from the list. If your registered product is not listed, please check back next time as new patches are added regularly.

but there's no list to select from...
 
what i needed to and have selected europe and sa... get support by choosing your phone and there is a list of all the handsets accompanied with a picture... i select htc tytn...

You must log in to HTC eClub first, then go to Phone software downloads (or something like that). If you registered your phone, you will see a picture of a TyTN, click it and go from there
