HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

Hey guys. I Ordered the TyTn II last week from the UK and TNT should be delivering it this morning. My TyTn had an unfortunate accident last week in Umhlanga when my nephew decided it needed to go for a swim and just couldn't wait two months for Leaf to bring it in.

I've been having sleepless nights :)

does anyone know where i can buy a 'cheap' car holder/stand for my tytn? those ones you stick to your windsheild then ur phone docks nicely in it. can be universal :)

I want a TyTN II!!! My sister is up for an upgrade in December. In the mean time, I NEED ATHE NOKIA E61i!

Anyone who is willing to SWOP and add about 1.5 or so more is welcome to contact me. Hey its negotiable, I am even willing to accpet a grand plus the E61i.

What do you see as cheap? The HTC one is ±R230 IIRC ... and it is adjustable ... I have used it successfully with my TyTN, a 6230i, N95 and 60Gb iPod :p

What???:D, I dont remember signing a WM 4 Life Contract:D

Well, my first WM experience has been good (not fabulous), I think I need another different WM to actually start enjoying WM. So far I hav set my sight on the TyTN II. In the meantime, I need to get my hands on that sleek E61i. Dont blame me for feeling a bit nostalgic for Nokio:D
 
Help!!

Downloaded WM6 over the weekend, did it over night so I could avoid counting the Mb's as they killed my data bundles dead. Woke up to a "download complete" the next was all smiles :D

Downloaded the thing, switched my TyTN back on and joy of all joys a prettier and faster experience...but ive noticed the fancy graphics and changes come at a price. My screen is misaligned and when it goes on stand-by as soon as i switch the screen back on the colours are all wonky or i get a blank white screen. :mad:

My main buttons choose when and where they will work, I can pick up some calls but others I have to use my stylus and click on the screen to pick them up. I can't hang up calls without ending the call on my screen via the touch screen.:confused: and when a call is ended my screen goes all wonky again, it's half white and half some mixed ugly version of purple.

Anyone have any ideas what i should do to fix it? I'm new to smart phones and although i'm not an idiot i don't wanna fiddle too much and screw up my warranty. I got the WM6 off of HTC's website.

Which Firmware was on the TyTN before you loaded WM6 ... where did you download WM6 from?

I was on WM5, came standard with the phone. It worked perfectly fine, had no issues at all. :(

I got WM6 from HTC's site.
 
Is it an MTN or phone feature that sends the caller to voicemail when you press the Call End button while the phone is ringing?

that should be a phone feature ... my first Nokia in 1995 did that, and all subsequent phones
 
Just press Silence when the phone is ringing, and eventually after 30 secs it will go to voicemail?
