I have another little app for you guys with the TyTn/Jasjam.
Its called SK Today Commander

  • up to 9 different today profiles
  • for each of profiles are possible: an individual set of plugins, the individual order of plugins, the individual theme
  • switching of profiles:
    1. from the main program
    2. from a special plug-in (two view modes)
    3. from bottom tray
    4. from any menu or any launcher or hardware button (using a shortcut)
  • you can organize an empty profile for get some free RAM
  • English, German, Russian UI languages

The Guy, dono if you'll mind, can you check how this app is running on your phone? Its a bit slow on mine i think.. If you dont mind?!? Could you test it? Anyone else? :)

no probs dude .. will do as soon as i get my TyTN back ... i am doing some testing on the Qtek 9000 and my Eten X 500 ...

Yeah thats a much better price but unfortunately the package really does'nt suit me very well as during peak times I get to use the work phone. What I need is a package that is more flexible that will incorporate data, sms and calls.

Good News is, Seems there will be a TyTn Rom update this month!!!

"Hello

HTC Europe are releasing a ROM update for the HTC TyTN (expected release date end of January 2007).

The ROM will be posted in the support section of the HTC Europe website.

This ROM update resolves all known issues with the HTC TyTN."

Okay here's my feedback

I'm not to happy with the TYTN I had as it didn't want to accept my APN settings for the active sync and it kept of freezing and kept switching itself off and on so I've sent it back asking for another one to play around with

Hows that to burst your bubble ... out of curiosity what APN settings are you trying to use to sync ????

Ouch.. The Guy, what is those words again... Technologically ........ :D hehehhe

My apn settings was on the phone, had leaf and vodacom settings. Freezing and switching off.. Think i had the same problem. I just replaced the rom. :)

You cant kick MTN data dude in the nuts like that :D
Hard reset the device and configure the connection manually ... it could be that the CAB file has not been designed specifically for your device

Our corporate APN so I put in my user name password and domain and selected 3G/GPRS created the connection under connection settings as well with my mail server which I use at work and no go - Just didn't want to work I'm pretty sure I did everything right :confused:

But I've given the phone back and I've asked them to give me another one to play around with if I still have a problem with the other one I'll let you know
