HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

New HTC Devices

Hi,

This post is off the topic but I hear that HTC is releasing a few new devices. The one that interests me is the HTC Advantage X7500 which is due for release in Europe in Q1. I wonder how long before we get it. Specs look awesome.

I was going to get the TyTN but now that Mobile 6 is out, I think I’ll stick to my K-JAM until more devices are available with Mobile 6.

oh... never mind - after doing the whole "PIM" Resetting thing - it seems to have changed my date and time.... still not "EXACTLY" as i had it - but the most important stuff it seems are still here - Calendar and Contacts.

Hi.

Does anyone have an idea where to change the sound for Alarms? I'm curren tly running AKU 3.3 and can't see anything under Sounds & Notifications.

Tx

So what is not there ???

Yeah, you are right. You CAN buy a cheap screen protector at 35 bucks and replace it every 6-12 months. Or you can buy a proper one, with anti-glare, matt surface for stylus writing, washable and anti fingerprint that lasts for 3 years for a 100 bucks.

dotVIBE ... is the Martin Fields screen protector any use at reducing reflected glare in sunlight?

a bit. Together with the app on page 58 of this thread it's just about readable in sunlight.

Okay people.

This f# phone is driving me insane. It keeps on stalling and is causing me to miss calls that I can't afford! I'm on Standby for the green bank.

percentage wise. is it hardware or 3 rd party software?

Anyone else using intelli sync? I think it might be the culprit.

Tx

Windows Mobile Junkie,

I lost all my notes...

And i lost my applications

and all the "automatic text" used for typing SMSs or emails or whatever is also lost after i did the PIM reinstall thing

The most important is the Contacts/Calendar/Tasks stuff tho... so it's not THAT bad!!

But still... it's not a "100%" backup/restore procedure tho

Can anyone recommend a hands free bluetooth carkit to use with the TyTn, I've heard that nokia ones give feedback?

Awesome phone!

I have the CK7 Nokia bluetooth carkit.... it works okay i guess... but sometimes it disconnects me... no feedback though...

I'm 80% happy with it

So guys.....what you think: should i get the htc tytn, or wait for the n95 ???

Normally it's 3rd party software. I had the exact same problem, and finally had to do a hard reboot to restore the phone. Then I reinstalled my apps 1 a day till I figured out which one it was that bombed the phone.

The jetware app listed earlier should address this issue. There is a known problem with the TyTn disconnecting from bluetooth car sets, but the jetware app extends the bluetooth functionality to cancel this out.

People generally seem to be happy with Parrot car kits.
