HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

sorry, meant WMXL 0.20 ROM, Windows Mobile XDA Live 0.20

note: on tomorrow's ROM release " set HSDPA " will be embedded into the OS.

Or download it here: ftp://xda:[email protected]/Hermes/Tools_and_Programs/SetHSDPAv2.zip

dot Dude, that Set HSDPA does not work for me. I have not seen a "U" since I changed to WM6. I did disable it before on WM5 to save some battery, but that was simple to switch back on again.

Yes, I installed the patch and activated it in HTweekC, but it won't connect.

I even tried to activate it via settings/phone/band.

0.20 - Not gonna stay up for this tonight, will catch the download in the morning when the Yanks are sleeping.

ROM Version: 3.22.110.1
ROM Date: 01/04/07
Radio Version: 1.18.00.10

I'm a little concerned about my radio version... was this part of the ROM update?

Is 1.18.00.10 okay?

Radio was not part of update. Very weird. Just reflash 1.35 Radio

dotVIBE, what is the procedure to install the Radio?

If i've installed this ROM i shouldn't have any extra stuff to do to install it right?!

What is the link for that Radio version ...

Thx dude :)

Ok your link has GPS enabled... is that the only thing that's fancy about 35 as opposed to 34?

if i don't plan on using a GPS unit with my TyTN - would u still recommend 35 over 34?

There's no real difference between the two. some people claim slightly better data coverage with 1.35. Don't worry about the GPS part. Its completely dormant unless you enable it with a vrserial rill driver.

OOOOOOO i can see a little "E" when i'm connected to EDGE!!

And am i imagining things or is my battery life better....
as well as speech quality?!?!
