Hello,

I've read all the previous posts about the E220 and installation problems on Windows XP (which I am using). It's about a 4 week old installation and is running on a Lenovo X60 Thinkpad. The problem I have is that when I connect the E220 device, there is the normal ding-dong of finding a new device and then the found new hardware box comes up. I select continue and then all that happens is that a new device comes up under "Other Devices" in the device manager called "Huawei Mobile" with yellow exclamation mark. There's nothing wrong with the device and I spent about 4 hours at a Vodacare centre yesterday with a technician who also couldn't solve the problem. Short of reinstalling Windows does anyone have any advice?

When you select the properties of "Huawei Mobile", what is the message it gives you?

Under which category of Device Manager is it listed?

Have you installed the software already?
