Huawei Hotspot

Have just acquired a Huawei P Smart phone on a Telkom Freeme Contract which includes 10Gb data per month. Am trying to use this data for streaming shows from Showmax via my DSTV Explora 2 contract. I tried doing this by using the hotspot facilty on my new phone. The DSTV wifi adapter recognises the hotspot but just does not want to connect, the little circle just keeps on spinning. I have tried the simcard in another phone and it connects without any problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there any way to sort this? Your advice and help will bemuch appreciated.

As a start remove the password - change it to an open network and test if it will connect. If that works please confirm

Hi, thanx for your reply. Tried removing the password but wont allow me save as such. I could change the password without any hassle. Unless there is some other setting on phone thst needs to be changed or set.
