Technically you dont need root to flash gapps. The bootloader just has to allow you to flash it. The "normal" bootloaders do signature verification of the "update" and reject it if not signed by the manufacturer, while the alternative bootloaders typically installed when rooting your phone don't check the signature at all. It's possible for Huawei to allow their signature as well as the one/s used on gapps packages.

I doubt Google would actively block gapps being used on a Huawei.
 
What about Netflix certification? I know that this can be a problem on android TV boxes. Same on phones?
 
It actually won't as the software needs a GMS approval from Google. This is unlike the Chinese ROM devices where those have GMS approved software... Well most of them, so even if Huawei wants it to work it still needs Google approval.

7680fps bliksem. 1/256 speed playback. I wonder how long it can record at that speed for? My P30 Pro does 960fps (1/32) but can only do it for 0.4 seconds
 
The Mate 30 Pro backside is so reflective it could start a forest fire.

Is the target market 8 year old boys who want to use the sun to burn ants?
