Themes are awesome. I found one that works well, and stuck with it. I'm also still using the default Home Launcher, and still haven't felt the need to root either.

My only issues at this point:

1. GPS loss every few days - fixed by reboot
2. Music lockscreen doesn't work well with 3rd party apps

Other than that, I'm a happy chappy.

Im also still using the default launcher , I was not happy with the e mail client ,so loaded another but otherwise with the whole theme option and being able to customise from there ,well there has been no need to change much .

My biggest gripe is the lack of covers / screen protectors etc in SA . Iv asked Huawei and they say there are coming and should hopefully be in SA by the end of the month . Iv had to order a Tempered Glass protector in the meanwhile though from abroad and a Nillkin back cover as I did not want to wait . Im currently using the Flip S View type cover that came with the phone and while the quality is good I am just not a fan of the flip type covers as they become a pain when wanting to take pics .

How have you found the battery life thus far ? Iv had some insanely good battery life on my device . Honestly It is going to be very difficult for me to have to go back to a device with less battery life and without the dual sim functionality .

Battery life? I'm a heavy user - sometimes (usually while gaming) I can kill the battery in half a day. Other times I get to the end of the day with 75% remaining. In general, if I know I'm going to be out all day then I limit my gaming. I can do everything else quite happily.

I dont play many games ,but am a heavy user as with work I am always on my e mail , messaging and on the internet . On a full charge I have been getting 10+ Hrs of screen on time .

I trickle-charge during the day, so screen on time is not something I've been checking. I like to keep topped up... force of habit, I suppose. :erm:

That said, the battery isn't the real reason for my buying the phone.

I asked Huawei on FB and a rep in a Cell C store and they said that they were hoping to have stock of covers at the end of April together with screen protectors . It comes with a nice Flip S View type cover ,but I hate flip covers .I just want a simple transparent hard back cover if possible .

I came across a cart outside Gateway where they apply a plastic coating to the front and back of your phone which acts as a cover. I think it comes with a lifetime warranty as I was quoted R500 for my phone.

Yeah, not bad considering I'm not using any of the built-in saving features. I hit the GPS for an hour or so in the morning, and keep updated with Twitter throughout the morning.
