Was me see post 352.
Only got the cable today, was busy yesterday.
Came home, had to download anydesk app so they could log onto the battery.
They say it looks healthy, but the soc and voltage is out of sync, thus firmware update required.
For some reason it just wouldnt update and is stuck in update mode.
So they said leave it disconnected overnight and they will try tomorrow morning again.
Ps. When i collected the cable, the guy there saw me collecting and asked whats the problem. When i explained, he said the tech is spot on and they will check battery health, and all parameters. Then gave me his card and said if there are any issues to please contact him directly. Seems to be one of the senior guys.
Update.
So when I checked the battery this morning, it was still in update mode. ie. Only the power light / LED is on, none of the SOC or warning lights are on. Even when Switching the battery off only the power light stays on.
So as promised, Hubble's tech guy called me at 08h10 and tried again to update firmware remotely. But with the battery stuck in this mode, he couldn't do anything.
He then asked if I could bring it in. I said i'm alone and to carry this thing to the car would be a problem. I then asked if they could send someone out. He said yes, but only on Tuesday. I then said I'll try to get some help and bring it in later the afternoon.
So I took it in this afternoon, when I arrived, they knew exactly who I was and what the battery issue was. They plugged it in, sorted the mode then updated the firmware.
Came home, re-installed the battery and it's working fine for now.
Will see tomorrow morning if the issue is resolved once it's discharged to 20%.
One thing I have to say, from the first email to the final receipt of the battery back from them, everyone there was very helpful, understanding and willing to help. Not once was I asked for an Invoice, proof of purchase or anything like that.
Told the techy and guy at reception, it's seldom that one gets this kind of service today, so it was an absolute pleasure to deal with them.
