I hope he did before he messes that up to, this is the reason people have friends who can actually build a pc from scratch.
20/24 pin power connector has to be attached, 4 pin what ever it is called has to be attached. PSU will always have a 20/24 AND a 4 pin 12V

that 4 pin story got me once as well... machine turns on but nothing happens.
would love to know why the question wether it has an oboard graphics card - cuz um yeah... you have to connect your monitor to sumthing
