This.It beggars belief that there is always money for airplanes but never enough for food, water or transport. The ANC is more embarrassed at potentially losing an airline, than already having lost hundreds of towns, municipalities, infrastructure and assets to waste and corruption. It makes no sense.

Letting the airline fold would be admitting incompetence. It's much easier to (sand)paper over it and keep their en pride and enormous egos intact.
