/blind pet /gouge UnterSerpent sting + Vanish doesn't work.
Pet still charges a rogue in Stealth if set on attack before stealth and and and. There is way too many variables in BG's to be able to say a Rogue can vainsh and that is the end of the battle
Same goes for any class. It's about knowing the other class and what they are about to do before they do it
. Vanish isnt the only trick you has. And o do you has many tricks

Scenario 1
Blind Healer (If one closeby), pop (Can't recall the damn name now) *The thing that make you avoid 70% of all hits* Gauge the hunter to get 2 combo points, backstab, kidneyshot pew pew, Vanish. Before the stun breaks open with Cheapshot pount on Combo points before the Cheapshot runs out, Kidneyshot again and pew pew till dead
Seriously, the Pet is not even part of this equasion
If all else fails, Pop sprint run out of combat range, go stealth, get away, bandage and try again
Then scenario 2
Rogue is fighting a Lock (I loved killing Locks) Hunter see this and hits me from max range (I have already pop'd my Cloak of Shadows since I'm killing a Lock FFS). Concussion shot, Pew Pew Pew Pew, Pet joins in, Pew Pew Pew. I vanish but have Serpent sting on me, Vanish breaks, Pew Pew Pew. I had no chance in hell.
Now what makes scenarion 1 any different from scenario 2?

But WoW is not a game for Duels.
I have prob dueled a total of 20 times in WoW. I have however fought in 1000's of BG's and a couple 100 arena's. If your being raped by a Dude from an opposite faction in the PvP world then you must just be very unlucky.

Whats the best way for a hunter to beat a rogue once he is in melee range?
I usually lay a trap and try get distance but doesnt work..they just seem to hit me once and im stunned then cant do nothing as they hack away at me.
From a distance ill kill..well u know how it goes..but close up haha not so easy
