why the hell did MS leave hyper terminal out of windows 7?

I can understand leaving it out of the basic versions, but Ultimate?

You can also use putty. It supports Telnet, SSH and Serial comms. I needed Serial for router programming which is the only thing I ever used Hyperterm for.
